Analysis and Treatment Measures of Crack Under the Anchorage on
No.0 Web of a Continuous Rigid Frame Box irder Bridge

Abstract:In the process of cantilever construction in sections of rigid frame prestressed concrete bo girder
bridge, local concrete under the bottom plate of anchorage is applied tremendous pressure caused by
prestressed concrete on site.A high local stress concentration was produced in concrete in an anchorage zone
under tremendous prestress, so that local bearing strength and crack resistance in this spatial scale are required
to checking calculation.Combined the engineering e ample the crack under the anchorage on No.0 web of a
continuous rigid frame bo girder bridge, on one hand the causes of cracks by design for the certain bridge
were analyzed.On the other hand the causes of crack by construction, such as poor accuracy of installation
place for anchorage bottom plate and bellows, ine perience workers and inferior construction quality of
concrete, were also discussed, and then the effective measures to resolve major questions for the advice on
improved design and treatment idea for crack were suggested in this paper.
