Chu2 1 2 (MCL/ITRI) 5~10% Abstract Due to a great deal of buildings and waterproof artificially topography, substituted for nature topography, and the emission of man-made heat sources, the temperature influence for the environment of cities are obviously degenerated. For example, the average temperature in cities is raised, leading to increase the electrically used amount at peak in the summer and to wastage the 5-10 %percentage of energy. Therefore, the increase of the electrically used amount causes the boost of carbon dioxide generated in a power-station. Based on this phenomenon, some problems regarding environment, energy and healthy are paid much attentions. Some policies for the improvement of the above-mentioned conditions are proposed. There are mainly two ways to be done, besides the long-term city planning. One is to cool the temperature of the houses roof and pavement.
