北京城市学院 201-2015学年第一学期 《大学英语3》期中口试阅读部分试题 (学生版) Unit 1 Education: A Transformation of the Soul 1 On my first day of high school, my teacher showed the class a Power Point presentation entitled The Value of Education. I was watching a film with my family and laughing at all the historical errors in it, but I suddenly realized that there was something I did love, something I had brushed aside in my mind for years because it did not fit with the marketable, diploma-holding job applicant I had always assumed I should become. 5 I am, as it so happens, the daughter of passionate history buffs. My family never took vacations; we took field trips. I had not yet lear
