Give the following classroom commands and have children listen to and follow each one.
“Please stand up. Show me a pencil. Sit down. Open your book.Close your book.Show me a bag.Stand up.Show me a chair. Sit down.Thank you!”
Preview
Pin up the Poster for this Unit where all the children can see it.Point to the sky and say,”Look,It’s blue.”Present the color blue at least twice and have children repeat.
Repeat the step above to present the other colors.
Presentation of new language
“Open your books”Point to the ducking.Have children point to it in their books.Ask them,”What color is it?”Elicit,”yellow” Say,”Yes,It’s yellow.”
Repeat the procedure to elicit the other colors.

Have children open their books to page 27 and direct their attention to the color shown down the right梙and side of the page.
Play the tape again,have the children touch the ma tching color.
Point to the color green on the artist’s palette.Ask, “What color is it?”Elicit,”Green”
Repeat the step above,pointing to the other colors on the palette an eliciting the name of each one.
Encourage students volunteer to point to and say the colors 作

Choose a more confident child and say to him,”Show me your blue pencil.” Hold up the pencil and say,”It’s a blue pencil.” Read the word “Blue” and have children repeat.
Repeat the above steps with other colors.
