[点拨] as long as意为“只要……”，常用来引导一个表示条件的状语从句。注意，这个短语中的第一个as可换为so。 如： As / So long as you work hard, you will realise your dream. 只要你努力，你就会实现你的梦想。 [拓展] 与as long as结构相似的短语有： (1) as well as 跟……一样好；也 She speaks English as well as her brother. 她英语说得跟她哥哥一样好。 Mike as well as his parents is coming to visit China next week. 迈克还有他的父母下周要来中国参观。 (2) as far as 跟……一样远；就……而言 I can take you as far as the train station. 我最远可以把你送到火车站。 As far as I know, she didn’t tell the truth. 就我所知，她并没有讲实话。 (3) as soon as 一……就 I will tell him the news as soon as I see him.
