The research paper investigates the smoking situation among Chongqing university students of different grades and majors, causes of smoking, students awareness of smoking harm to their health, effects of smoking on individual students and the society in general as well as students smoking habits and opinion of smoking ban in China. Suggestions are offered as a result of the study.
