China, especially after her successful host of Olympic Games in 2008 and World Expo in 2010, her international position is greatly promoted, so the cultural adaptation is always one of the hot topics in the field of cross-cultural communication and the field of language teaching. It is exactly the same case with the foreign students in China, and their adaptation to Chinese culture has also beenaneye-catchingissueforinternationalscholars. For the purpose of having a general knowledge of the international students’ cultural adaptation so as to provide suggestions for solving the problems in the fields of our higher education and educational administration, the author of this thesis performed some empirical study. Carefully designed questionnaires are distributed among 102 international students from different countries worldwide in universities all over Jiangxi province. They cover different perspectives like natural environment, everyday life, language barrier, social interaction, academic communication, and psychological stress etc., in order to explore the main factors influencing the adaptation level and adaptation process of V foreignstudentsinJiangxi-basedu
