CAN CAN CAN CAN Tolerance Analysis of Bit Timing on CAN Bus Communication Wang Zhiping Zhang Donglai (Shen Zhen Graduate School of Harbin Institute of Technology, Shen Zhen, 518055) Abstract CAN bus is applied widely because of its perfect performance, security and real-time. While the predominant characteristics, on a certain extent, are restricted by hardware design. if the affect is ignored in design, it would lead to error of communication, interruption of communication or even network paralysis. By studying the process of communication on CAN bus, this paper analyzes the tolerance of CAN bit timing to hardware warp.
