Learn and master the following words and phrases chore, dish, do the dishes, sweep, trash, take out, make one’s bed/make the bed, fold, living room. 2. Develop the students’ listening ability. 3. Be able to make polite requests. 过程和方法:通过写便条,做调查表及报告等形式,练习巩固请求和答复等用语 情感、态度、价值观:养成礼貌待人良好习惯 二、学生在学习本节新知过程中的重点和难点 重点:Sentence Patterns Could you please sweep the floor? Yes, sure. 难点:Be able to make polite requests. Be polite to answer the request. 三、各环节的问题设计 1.导入环节:Step IThe teacher asks students: Could you please sweep the floor? Help students answer: Sure/ Ok/I’d love to. 2.Then change with: take out the trash/make your bed/clean the living room/fold your clothes/do the dishes 3.Answers with: Sorry, I have to ┅ 4. Write the phrases on the blackboard. 2.重点环节:StepⅡ 1a 1. Ask a student to read the phrases. do the dishes, sweep the floor, take our the trash, make your bed, fold your clothes, clean the living room Explain the word chore? 2. Then let the students work in pairs. Discuss the question: Do you do these chores at home? 3. After some minutes, ask several pairs to say their answers. StepⅢ 1b 1. Ask the students to look at the chart. Then play the recording the first time. Students only listen. Play the recording a second time. Students check Peter’s mother or peter. 2. Check the answers. Answers: do the dishes=M sweep the floor=M take out the trash=P make the bed= P fold the clothes= P clean the living room=M StepⅣ. Pair work 1.Ask the students to look at the picture, and then students read the conversations 2. Then let the students make conversations in pairs. After some minutes, ask several pairs to say their conversations. 3.Explain the language point. ①could是情态动词can的过去式,在此句中的Could you do… 表示请求,已没有时态的概念,比Can you do…的语气更客气。e.g. ②trash作名词,既可指生活垃圾,也可指,艺术作品,人等低级拙劣的抽象垃圾。 3.难点环节:Step V 2a/2b 1.
