It is the pure, primordial joy, love and human emotions that artists try to expound to us. This is the first stage of art. Then Art begins with abstract decoration, with purely imaginative and pleasurable work dealing with what is unreal and non-existent.?All sorts of crafts then begin to be applied to Art by artists. The form of Art becomes no long simple, no longer easy to be understood for common people. Because Art takes real life as part of her rough material, recreates it, and refashions it in pompous, exaggerated forms, being absolutely indifferent to facts, and keeping between herself and reality the impenetrable barrier of beautiful style, of decorative or ideal treatment.?This is what I call the second stage of art. And gradually Art becomes showy and not substantial. The third stage is when Real Life gets the upper hand, and drives out flashiness into wilderness.?This time the form of art recovers its original simplicity and becomes once again easy to be understood.
