T he results show ed that radar absorption performances of the composites w ere deeply affected by the distance be- tw een SiCf and the rate of mass growth of the nikel coating. As to the former, w ith the decrease of the distance betw een SiCf , radar absorption bandw idth and the maximum absorption peak exhibited an en- hancement, as though radar absorption effect w as w eak w hen the distance w as w ide ( such as 8mm, 6mm) ; as to the latter, w ith the increase of the distance or the rate of w eight growth, radar absorp- tion performance exhibited an increase and then follow ed by a decline.
