Company, as advertised on the University of Sheffield Careers Vacancy Service website on 20th April. I am studying History at the University of Sheffield and expect to obtain a 2.1 when I graduate in June 20 14. I recently spent four months in a role which has given me PR experience and led me to confidently reach the decision that I wish to pursue a career in Public Relations. After graduation, I would like to work for a specialist Public Relations firm so that I can utilise and further develop the PR experience I have gained and the skills I have developed from my many extra-curricular activities. I performed a variety of Public Relations related tasks during my most recent employment at Browns. These included the organisation of an Open Day, where I worked as part of a team to ensure that the day was a success. This involved designing posters, displays, tickets and voucher booklets, and working with the Printers to produce them. I also designed and produced a handout for the tour of the factory which is now used to assist with site tours, as well as an internal welcome pack for prospective employees and an external visitor’s guide.
