The objectives of the project are to significantly enhance capabilities for handling spatio-temporal coastal databases, build a fundamental basis of coastal geospatial information for inter-governmental agency operations, and provide innovative tools for all levels of governmental agencies to increase efficiency and reduce operating costs. Introduction This paper presents the status and outcomes of the first year of an NSF-funded Digital Government project.
