6 Port Valve Rebuild The 6 Port Valve Is Designed to Withstand Millions of Actuation Cycles Without Leakage or Failure. When Service Is Required, the Valve Can Be Overhauled Using a Rebuild Kit of Replacement Diaphragms Available From Daniel. The Following Presentation Is an Outline of the Parts of the Valve, the Parts of the Rebuild Kit, and a Step by Step Procedure of Rebuilding the Valve. All Parts of Valve Must Be Free of Oil and Dust. Before Parts Are Installed They Must Be Inspected for Debris, Scratches or Contamination and Cleaned As Required. Cleaner Must Not Be an Oil Based Cleaner. Contact Cleaner, Acetone, or Isopropyl Alcohol Are Example Cleaners. After Cleaning, Blow Clean Dry Instrument Air, Helium or Nitrogen Through the Valve Ports. 6 Port Valve Parts The 6 port valve consists of the following parts: 6 Port Valve Rebuild Kit The 6 port valve rebuild kit consists of the following: Rebuild Instructions 1. Remove valve from analyzer. Use a 5/32 hex wrench to remove the two hex bolts. Disconnect all tubing using a ? inch wrench. Rebuild Instructions 1. Remove valve from analyzer. 2. Secure valve in vise and loosen torque bolt with ? inch wrench. Rebuild Instructions 3. Disassemble valve and discard used diaphragms. Rebuild Instructions 4. Place primary plate face down on clean flat surface. Rebuild Instructions 5. Place the large and small guide pins in the primary plate. Rebuild Instructions 6. Install sealing diaphragm.
