Residences, especially the old-style residences in dow ntow n of Shanghai are prone to be affected and even collapse during w aterlogging disas- ters. The purpose of th is paper is to carry out risk assessment of residences in the region based on scenario smi u la- tion and indicator system. The rainstorm scenario w as smi ulated by the rainstorm smi u lation model developed by ShanghaiF lood R isk Information Center.
