It portrays the adventures of four young Athenian [?θi:nj?n] lovers and a group of amateur actors in a moonlit forest, and their interactions(互相交流) with the fairies who inhabit it and Duke(公爵) [dju:k, du:k]of the Athenians. The play is one of Shakespeares most popular and is widely performed across the world.
