Module 1Grammar 1 Passive Voice (present and past tenses) 被动语态由 “be+及物动词的过去分词”构成。不同时态的被动语态的变化体现在be的形式变化。一般现在时的被动语态为am/is/are +动词的过去分词。一般过去时的被动语态为was/were +动词的过去分词。如： 雅典作为西方文明的诞生地而著名。 Athens is known as the birthplace of western civilisation. ?蒙娜丽莎?是达芬奇画的。 Mona Lisa was painted by Da Vinci. 主动句的谓语若是短语动词，变成被动句时，要把这个短语动词看成一个整体，其后的介词，副词等不能省略。 如：Grandma takes good care of the flowers. The flowers are taken good care of by Grandma. 被动语态的具体用法： 一. 不清楚动作的执行者是谁。 His bike was stolen. 二. 没有必要说明或不想说明动作执行者是谁。 Paper was first made in China. Do you know when the building was built? 三. 强调或突出动作的承受者。这时若需要指出动作的执行者，可用 “by +动作执行者（宾格）。 The painting was painted by Da Vinci. Paris is visited by millions of tourists every year.
