Abs tract: Shangban bridge is the m ost long integ ral abu tm ent bridge in Ch ina. It is located in Y ongchun county,
Fu jian prov ince. In this paper, the test research on the characteristics o f the natural v ibrat ion for the bridge is dis-
cu ssed. The authors ca lculate the characteristics o f the natural v ibra tion for the bridge w ith the structure ana lysis
sofwt are-AN SY S, and com pare them w ith the test results. The vibratory character istics o f the structure are also tes-t
ed under a trave ling truck and a truck w ith obstac le. T he research results are he lp fu l for the know ledge o f dynam ic
character istics of these br idges and he lp u s to research the se ism ic properties of jo intless bridge.
