ABSTRACT
Female college students group, is in the youth development later, this
time, their weight gain rapidly, and affected by the group psychological
and learning factors, make most of the female college students don’t
like to participate in sports activities and leading to the sharp decline
in their sports ability, it will bring hidden trouble to obtain high life
quality.
Pilates is a unique training system that blending the meditation and
breathe of oriental fitness ideas emphasizing and the bones and
muscle of western fitness ideas emphasizing, it is designed to balance
the body, relieve muscle and improve human core control ability. Because
of its many fitness advantage and practice field characteristics, the
Pilates have become the better choice many women especially group of
female college students like.
In view of this, in order to improve the basic sports ability of female
college students, and give full play to the Pilates, in this paper,
diagnose their basic sports ability by function screening (FMS) and
finding out main restrictive problems of college students, then select
targeted Pilates methods to teaching to test the application effect of
FMS in Pilates courses. Conclusions and Suggestions are following,
1 College female students’ basic sports ability is low. Where show that
their double hips, knees and ankles and dynamic stability is bad, the
dynamic stability of pelvis and core parts is bad, and either side of
the body hip flexibility appear asymmetric characteristics.
2 Application of FMS in female college students’ Pilates course can
promote the basic sports ability and Pilate’s technology learning
improvement.
