Abstract: Objective: To establish accurate finite element model of complete lumbar spine with complex lumbar spinal stenosis (LSS), then do comparation and analysis with normal model. Methods: Choose some patient with complex LSS and collect the CT scan data. By using specially designed modeling system, a complete FE model of Lumbar with complex LSS is generated, as well as normal lumbar model. Then, same boundary conditions are applied to do comparation. Results: The result demonstrated that the active movement range of complex LSS decreased 25.4% compared to normal model. There are stress concentration around the endplate and disk at the degenerative intervertebral?disk L4-L5 and adjacent disk L3-L4. Conclusion: The lumbar spine with complex lumbar spinal stenosis has less range of motion and is stiffer compared to normal model, and there are stress concentration at the degenerative intervertebral?dis and adjacent intervertebral?disk. The analysis result is useful to practical clinical diagnosis of lumbar spine with LSS. Key words: Lumbar spine; Lumbar spinal stenosis; Finite element method; Biomechanics 1 引言 腰椎管狭窄症(Lumbar Spinal Stenosis, LSS)是指由各种原因引起骨质增生或纤维组织增生肥厚,导致腰椎管或神经根管矢状径狭窄而出现的一系列临床综合症[1]。近年来,随着我国人口老龄化程度的加重和医学影像诊断技术的发展,发病率明显[2],但国内外很少有相关文献专门进行关于腰椎管狭窄症的有限元分析,特别对复杂性腰
