The redundancy of crop growt h and develop ment and eukaryyotic genome including highly rep eated DNA sequences show t hat gene has functional redundancy . The function and role of rep etitive DNA are discussed in t his p ap er . Living organisms have redundancy at different levels :organ , individual , population , community , ecosystem , as well as at t he molecular level .
