The traditional bamboo paper-making technology and process in Jiajiang County, Leshan City, has been included in the first state-level non-material cultural heritage list in May 2006. However, after Wenchuan county occurred the big earthquake on 12th May,2008, a large number of non-material cultural heritages have received the varying degrees of influence and destruction, including ‘the Jiajiang traditional paper-making process’.
