Methods: The control group used the traditional emergency call method (telephone call), while the experimental group used the OR emergency call system. Emergency call-response outcomes were compared between the two groups. And the subjective evaluation of the system from medical staff in OR was investigated. Results: The time of making emergency call, making emergency response and the first support personnel arriving at emergency scenes were effectively reduced in the experimental group (P0.01). OR medical staff spoke highly of the system. Conclusion: Installation of information emergency call-response system in OR of large hospital is one of the important measures to quickly organize rescue teams and deal with emergencies in OR.
