Lin Family Garden has been considered the most famous garden but the worst-case destruction in Taiwan. The garden re-opened in 1987. Almost after thirty years of the restoration survey, the author revisits the garden and proposes a monograph. First, a brief history of Lin Family Garden is elaborated. Second, “Wandering in the Garden, Waking from a Dream”, is the theme of the paper.
