Abstract: Three development stages of hot strip continuous rolling during the last twenty years in China are introduced.
The appliedadvanced andcharacteristicstechnologies of four kinds of hot stripmills are comprehensively analyzed. The cur-
rent situation, existing problems and development tendency of hot strip mill construction in China are described. Mean-
while, some suggestion for further development of the hot rolledstrip production enterprises of China are put forward.
