Methods Fro M arch 2003 toApril2004, 41patientsw ith stenoses or occlusion of internal carotid artery were ad itted in our depart ent. Therewere 33 ale and 8 fe ale patients. A ll patients underwent angiography and perfusion- weighted MR I to evaluate their orphologic and he odyna ic characters. Results Perfusion- weightedMR I revealed nor al regional cerebral blood flow in all patients, w ith delayed ti e topeak in iddle cerebralartery distribution. And the disorderwas correlated to stenosis degree. Col lateral circulation could i prove thehe odyna ic disorder in border zone, but do nothing to iddle cerebral artery distribution. Conclusion Perfusion- weightedMRI is a good ethod to evaluatehe odyna ic character of stenoses or occlusion of iddle cerebral artery. And the he odyna ic status is closely correlated with or
