N ondispersible underw ater concrete is concrete that mixing in a special additivesantiw ashout admixture. Antiw ashout admixture is a kind of w atersoluble polymers w ith longchain structure and strong adsorption capacity. It can adsorb cement particles and other properties of concrete and can raise the concentration of fresh concrete particles, thereby it can greatly raise the antiw ashed capacity of the concrete mixture to pouring in the w ater directly and improve the strength of underw ater concrete and guarantee the quality of construction projects. Therefore, it w ill solve the issue that fresh concrete disassembles in the w ater radically and w ill realize the underw ater construction land!, so there are a lot of potential advantages in underw ater w orks. This paper outlines the performance of fresh and hardening nondispersible underw ater concrete, the mechanism of how the antiw ashout admixture w orks, the development and application of the nondispersible underw ater concrete at home and abroad.
