Group members are scored individually according to allocated tasks. Grading criteria for group work * Grading criteria for group work 1. Language (5%) Correct-- no mistake in grammar, pronunciation and vocabulary use Use short words and short sentences. Don’t use jargon(行话), unless you are certain that your audience understands it. Fluent 2. Content (5%) Relevant to the topic and to the point * Grading criteria for group work 3. Structure (5%) Clear and easy for the audience to follow Logical– usually organized in three parts 4. PPT(5%) Simple– easy to read, avoiding designing a ppt with so many colors and effects that the audience remember the design more than the information in your speech Clear– easy to understand, just the main points of your speech outline Consistent * Grading criteria for group work 5. Delivery (5%) Try to overcome your nervousness and act calmly and naturally Establish eye contact with each member of your audience Body language: be aware of and avoid any repetitive and irritating gestures loud enough voice, normal speed, different intonation Skillful in using ppt and other aids * Beginning Short introduction welcome your audience introduce your subject explain the structure of your presentation explain rules for questions * Middle B
