In recent years, as the rapid economic development and irrational use and high- intensity develop- ment, the soil erosion, degradation of land quality, land contamination and other environ- mental problems of land in parts of Haigang District in Qinhuangdao resulted in the imbal- ance of land ecological balance, economic development and even land vicious circle of ecologi- cal damage. By analyzing the land use of Haigang district and ecological characteristics, in full recognition of the current status of the land ecological environment and existing prob- lems, the article proposed measures of laying equal stress on management and protection, and conservation, focusing on ecological economics and ecological environment construction such land ecological environment protection and remediation measures.
