City people always appear to be hurrying to get where they are going, in the shop they anxiously expect the clerk to serve them immediately, or to hurry to buy something, with the elbows to push others. People also rush during meals during the day, partly reflecting the pace of life in this country. People think working hours are precious. In public eating places, people wait for others to finish as soon as possible so that they can eat in time, You will find the driver rude people will push past you. You will miss smiles, brief conversations, and casual chitchat with strangers. Dont think its against you, This is because people value time very much and they dont like to waste time to the point where they dont feel comfortable. Many people who have just arrived in the United States will miss the greeting at the start of a business visit.
