各种英语水平考试简介（A brief introduction to various English proficiency tests） A brief introduction to various English proficiency tests text One, GRE GRE (Graduate Record Examination) by Educational Testing Service (Educational Testing Service, referred to as ETS) sponsored by the United States for the first time in 1937, Harvard, Yale, Columbia, jointly organized the four university in Princeton, hosted by Carnegie fund Carnegic Foundation early 1948, responsible for the newly established education test center ETS. It is held in many parts of the world every year. China foreign examination coordination office is responsible for the management and undertaking of GRE and other foreign examinations in china. GRE is a graduate of University of Canada (in addition to all kinds of Management Institute, School of law) an examination must have required applicants, whether it is also the most important standard Professor award scholarships based on applicants. It applies to various disciplines and specialized graduate exams except for the law (which requires LSAT exams) and business (which requires GMAT examination). There are two kinds of GRE exams: 1. general ability or orientation test (General test or Aptitude Test) general examination 2. professional examination or advanced test (Subject Test or Advanced Test) professional examination The GRE regular examination examines the basic English competence of the test takers and the breadth and depth of knowledge involved in the English language. Part 1: Vocabulary (Vocabulary). It covers a wide range of subjects, including astronomy, geography, humanities, science, art, politics and history. The second part: Mathematics (Quantitative). This part is the basic problems of the mathematical, including geometry, algebra, statistics, intelligence and other aspects, the main purpose is to potential candidates for basic math test and mathematical problems of understanding and reasoning ability. The difficulty, depth, and degree of the subje
