商务礼仪(business etiquette) Etiquette, in modern society, is a kind of ethical code of respect and friendship, which can be divided into administrative etiquette, business etiquette, service etiquette, social etiquette, foreign etiquette and so on. Business etiquette which covers all aspects of business contacts, is common in business model, including a variety of communication skills and norms required in business communication, is the embodiment and application of social etiquette. The cultural background of global economic integration makes different countries business together, but often because of subtle difference, some become master of negotiations but some defeated country. Business etiquette is one of the subtle and crucial factors. Therefore, understanding the importance of business etiquette is more important to businessmens success. There are many differences in business etiquette in Europe, America and Asia, especially between the United States and japan. In this paper, the United States and Japan as an example of their business etiquette for comparative analysis. I. comparison of business etiquette in the United States and Japan Business etiquette includes business, daily meetings, receptions, visits, newsletters, conferences, banquets, tours, ceremonies, social events, and negotiating etiquette. This article compares the business etiquette of the United States and Japan from the following four directions: (I) daily business etiquette; 1. ways of greeting. Greetings, Americans meet etiquette is very simple, is often nod and smile, politely say hello on the line, even the first meeting, also do not shake hands; and whether they are young or old, people usually call them by their names. In Japan, however, its quite different. The Japanese usually greet each other with a bow, 15 degrees are common etiquette, 30 degrees are common etiquette, and 45 are the most respected manners.
