Dynamic Simulation of Natural Circulation HRSG

Abstract: A natural circulation HRSG dynamic model is was developed, which was important in studying the dynamic
behaviors of HRSG. With introducing the technique of combining the drag model and volume model, more reasonable model
divide method was proposed. Thus the models were easier to connect. Based on the mechanism of HRSG, the working
medium under the water-level of the drum was lumped as a lumped system with dynamic dryness. Subsequently, the complex
of drum model was alleviated. Dynamic responses of HRSG were numerically simulated when gas turbine and steam turbine
were under off-design condition. Theoretical analyses show that the simulation results are reasonable and the model can
satisfy dynamic simulation for large load change. It is believed that the result in this work is valuable in proposing a reference
for similar research.
