P ha rm acy Colleg e, Cheng du Un ivers ity of Trad itiona l Ch inese M ed icine, Cheng du 6 10075, Ch ina) [ A b stract] 　O bjective: To investigate the correlation between decocting tim e (D T) , adm in istration do sage (AD ) and efficacy of warm ing Yang of crude lateral root of acon ite (CLRA ) , and the best D T and AD to efficacy of warm ing Yang of the CLRA. M eth od: A ccording to the efficacy of the CLRA supp lem enting fire and strengthen ing Yang, several an im al models, including a con stip ation induced by in sufficiency of Yang, k idney Yang deficient models, un iform de sign (UD ) and regre ssion analysis were app lied to confirm the best D T and AD of the differen t action s of the CLRA. Result: The CLRA obviou sly imp roved the general state of k idneyyang defi ciency m ice, m arkedly increa sed their sw imm ing dep leted tim e in lower temp eratu re, and evidently decrea sed the defecation latency, p romoted defecation amoun t, and imp roved p eristalsis frequency of inte stines and stom ach.
