Abstract: Compared with the scroll compressor l bricated with oil, the oil- free scroll compressor has differ-
ent working process and leakage sit ation. The researches in this paper were mainly foc sed on the changes of vol -
metric ratio nder real working conditions, which deviated from designworking conditions, and the changes of leak-
age rate and indicated work. Based on the test of an oil- free scroll compressor, which has an air delivery of

016m /min and a rotational speed of 2060r/ min, the reason why the basic technical feat res have been changed
was investigated. The research is the fo ndation for design an oil- free scroll compressor.
