Science and Technology Office of Ningxia Forestry Bureau Yinchuan Ning xia, , 750002, China) Abstract: T he reasonable development of caragana feed could increase the feed resources and alleriate the steppe pressure and improve the ecosystem environment in dry sand area. The results of different processing methods in caragana feed show ed that the utilized coefficient of caragana increased 50% , the appetite and w eight of the domestic animal increased 20%30% and 15%, respectively by smash- ing . T he CP content increased 0. 1%, the CF and the ADL decreased 5% and 1. 8%, respectively in the ammoniated caragana silage. After adding 5% corn in the ammoniated caragana silage, the CP in- creased 4. 2% , the CF and the ADL decreased 22. 2 % and 4. 8%, respectively After fermenting the. , CP increased 0. 7% , the CF and the ADL decreased 9. 9% and 10. 2%, respectively.
