Abstract The guiding ideology in the de ign of the Type QCF50/ 925- 30- 3. 82/ 450
wa te heat boiler for the f ir t larg e- cale ulfuric acid plant of 200, 000 t/ a, it technical
parameter , ba ic conf iguration, pecial de ign f eature and the erie of optim ization
mea ure taken in it de ign are pre ented. It ha g one through a trial of more than 3 year in
actual operation and proved that it de ign i ucce ful, off ering a good reference for the
utilization of wa te heat from ulfuric acid production in China, the manufacture of larg e- cale
unit for the utilization of wa te heat and their localization.
