The numerical results shows that the preliminary seismic response of structure increases with the prestress enhancement ，then ，the seismic response of structure approaches to the same value gradually. The number and po- sition of brace bars have faint influence on the seismic response peak value of stress of tightwire （increasing 62 . 9% ），and the peak value of vertical displacement increases 36 . 2% when considering traveling-wave effect. Compared to the consistent excitations of earthguake ，the different restrictions have remarkable influence on the seis- mic responses of long-span beam string structure.
