The Crow and The PitcherA crow felt very thirsty. He looked for water everywhere. Finally, he found a pitcher.But there was not a lot of water in the pitcher. His beak could not reach it. He tried again and again, but still could not touch the water.When he was about to give up, an idea came to him. He took a pebble and dropped it into the pitcher. She decided to go for a ride in the forest. 她准备到森林里去骑马。 decide 动词，决定，后跟动词不定式作宾语，不能跟动词-ing 形式。 I decided to work hard. 我决定努力学习。 go for a ride. 去兜风。类似的， go for a walk 去散步，go for a swim 去游泳 go for a drive 驾车出游。 3. Soon she was lost. 过了一会儿她迷路了。 be lost 意为“ 迷路，走失” lost 在此是lose 的过去分词作形容词, be 动词还可以换成 get。be lost = get lost 4. She knocked on the door. 她敲了敲门。 knock on = knock at 敲门 Maybe no one lived in the house. 可能那房子每人住吧。 Maybe 副词，可能，与perhaps, probably 的意思相同。分开写的may be, may 是情态动词，be 是谓语
