The Peop les H osp ital of Liaocheng Cit , L iaocheng 252000, Shandong , China ABSTRACT Objective:To explore the therape tic effect of center decompression and a togeno s bone and BMP implantation in treating ischemic necrosis of femoral head( INFH) . Methods: Fortyone hips in 36 patients with ischemic necrosis of femoral head were incl ded 29 hips of 25 female and 12 hips of 11 male, and t he average age of all the patients was 455 years ranging from 31 to 69 years.According to Ficat Staging sys tem, 3, 19, 13 and 6 hips w ere at 0, ∀ , # and ∃ stages respectively .All patients were treated by center de compression and a togeno s bone and BMP implantation. Results:All patients were followed p for 2 to 63 months ( average 41 months) .According to eval ating standard of c rative effect set by the Affiliated Hospital of G angzho University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the excellent res lt was achieved in 21 case, good in 8 cases, fair in 4 cases and poor in 3 cases. Conclusion:The method of center decompression and a togeno s bone and BMP implantation can decrease bone press re, improve blood s pply to femoral head.T he implanta tion with a tologo s spongy bone can s pport effectively artic lar cartilage and prevent collapse. BMP can in d ce tiss e repair, speed p the bone reconstr ction of femoral head.T his method is effective in the treatment of the cases at Ficat Staging 0- #. ey words Avasc lar necrosis of
