D - link bus capacitor includes resistance, inductance and the battery system ( pow er bat tery andw ire) which also includes the resistance and stray inductance. Itbecomes themain problem in the selection ofD - link bus capacitor. RelevantPMSM model and electric drive system modelw ere established in the smi ulation softw are. And the selection of capacitor w as based on the relationship betw een equivalent resistance, equivalent inductance and e quivalent capacitance of the capacitor. Smi ulation w ith three kinds of capacitors such as alum inum electrolytic capacitors, film capacitors andmetalized film capacitorsw ere carried out.
