The results of the analysis show t hat the soil fert ility has been increased in northern Hebei and decreased in southern Hebei and northw est ern Shan- dong . T he fact ors affect ing soil fertility are : ri er harnessing, fertilizer application, and t he changes in cropping sy stem and land utilizat ion after the adoption of high yield hybrid erities.
