副词性从句 副词性从句也称状语从句，在句子中起状语的作用。 有的状语从句可以在主句前，有的放在主句后，状语从句可以表示时间、地点、原因、目的、结果、条件、方式、让步、和比较9种意义。 时间状语从句 引导时间状语从句的连词和词组有： 1. when, while, as; (当…时) 2. as soon as, the moment, directly, instantly, immediately; （一…就） 3. until, till (直到) 4. before (在…之前) 5. after(在…之后) 6. once(一旦) 7. whenever(任何时候) 8. every time, each time （每次） 注意：在时间状语从句中，常用 主将从现，一般将来时常用一般现在时；该用过去将来时，常用一般过去时；该用将来进行时，常用现在进行时。 I will tell you when he comes back. I said I would tell him when he came back. when, while, as 表示主句和从句动作同时发生 When 既指某一时间点，又可指某个时间段 可以与短暂性和延续性动词连用 While 强调一段时间，所以从句的谓语动词常是延续性的 As 强调主句和从句的动作相并发生，常译“一边…一边” 谓语动词是延续性动词 1. When he returned, his wife was cooking. 2. While he was reading (read), his wife was cooking (cooked). 3. As he was cooking, he was singing songs. 4.Tom broke his leg while/when/as he was playing football. when和while都可以作为并列连词， 连接并列分句，when “在...时候”，while 具有对比意义，表示“而，可是” You like sports while I like reading.
