Sci.》《Current Eye Research》《Cornea》《Clinical Ophthalmology》《BMC Ophthalmology》Cytokines》,《Retina: The Journal of Retinal and Vitreous Disease》,《The Journal of Infection》《American Journal of Ophthalmology》Dr. Xi Huang, a full Professor and Ph.D. supervisor, is a Head of National Teaching Center of Basic Experimental Medicine, and director of Pathogen Biology, Sun Yet-sen University Zhongshan School of Medicine. Following his M.D. degree in 1987, Dr. Huang was trained in Sun Yat-sen Medical University and obtained Ph.D. degree in medical immunology in 1994. After that, he accepted a postdoctor position and worked at University of Michigan School of Medicine in Ann Arbor, USA. After finishing his postdoctor training in 1996, he worked in Wayne State University School of Medicine as a Research Scientist, Assistant Professor and Associate Professor in 1996-2008. He has setup his own lab in anti-infectious immunity and inflammation and funded by NIH as PI or Co-PI. In 2008, Dr. Huang was recruited back to Sun Yat-sen University Zhongshan School of Medicine as a PI and Professor.
