Both men rushed their respective designs to the patent office within hours of each other, Alexander Graham Bell patented (获专利) his telephone first. ;According to British newspaper Daily Mail, Nathan Stubblefield, is finally being recognised as the father of mobile phone technology exactly 100 years after he patented his design for a “wireless telephone”.
