Then, a serial communication program design of the PC and DSP is provided, which uses Modbus protocol.To improve the ability of suppressing interference, the communication does not only make use of odd parity and CRC parity, but also apply to the overtime alarm mechanism. KEY WORDS: DSP, PC, Serial, Communication, Design Abstract: This paper first introduces the hardware connection between TMS320F2812 DSP and PC for serial communication. Then, the software design of slave communication program and host communication module is expounded in detail. Its communication program protocol uses a universal industrial standard Modbus protocol. The system not only adopts odd check and CRC check, but also uses timer to set up overtime alarming mechanism, and improves the anti-interference ability of the communication system. Preface Generally, the microprocessor is integrated with 1 or multiple hardware UART channels, so that serial communication can be implemented very conveniently. In industrial control, power communications, intelligent instruments and other fields, often use simple and easy to use serial communication as a means of data exchange [1]. This paper introduces the serial communication between the controller and the fault diagnosis machine of the electric dump truck which uses DSP chip as the core.
