(1.) nutritional requirements: Boer goat, like other domestic animals, needs a variety of nutrients in life activities, mainly proteins, carbohydrates, fats, vitamins, minerals and water. (1) protein: protein is a nitrogenous compound, its basic composition is amino acids, there are many kinds of amino acids, but there are only 20 kinds of proteins. Protein is the main component of sheep tissues and cells, and is the essential nutrient for maintaining normal metabolism, growth, reproduction and production of various products. Because sheep are ruminant animals, they can make use of rumen organisms to produce amino acids and synthesize high-quality bacterial proteins. Therefore, the quality of feed protein is not very strict. Rumen microbes can use non protein nitrogen-containing compounds (such as urea, ammonium), transforming protein required for sheep, according to this characteristic, in the diet of sheep in adding urea as feed protein substitutes. When the content of protein in goats fed diets was between 6% and 10%, the effect of adding urea was best. (2) carbohydrates, the main function of carbohydrates is to provide energy for the body, to participate in the synthesis of mucopolysaccharide, glycoprotein, etc., is to maintain normal body temperature and essential substances of life activities. The main carbohydrates in feed are starch and fibrous substances, which are mainly decomposed and absorbed by the rumen microorganisms of sheep.
