China Ship Development and Design Center, Wuhan 430064, China) Abstract: Array errors are important factors that restrict the performance of the vector-sensor array beam-forming system. On the basis of taking use of the “Generalized Euler Angle” from kinematics to describe the attitude error of the array elements, Gauss Perturbation Models of array errors were established. And then, the theoretical expression of real beam-response of the vector-sensor array was deduced. Moreover, the influence of every kind of random array error on the performance of the system was also analyzed in-depth, and some pieces of useful conclusions were obtained.
