This is primarily a toolkit available from our Professional Services group to enable the creation of configurations of Linux for a specific purpose. Examples of this are Linux for POS – we have a version that runs on the IBM 4684 POS - and also, as we are here in Las Vegas, we have a version that drives a number of Gaming machines. Attributes of smallfoot are its size – hence the name – as well as a host of features that include diskless and diskfull configurations, read only file systems and self healing in the case of a failure.
