However，the differences ofinitialconditions，drivingforcesanddevelopmentpathsalsoleadtodifferentpracticesofthepark’integration intothecity. SiliconValley andHsinchuScience-BasedIndustrialParkasthesuccessful scienceparksoftheworld，have many commons and characters in the backgrounds，mechanisms，models and tendencies of the park’integration into the city. Through summing up their experience，thispaper hopestoprovide some constructive ideasfor National Hi-Tech In- dustrial Zone to promote the development of the park’integration intothe city and improvethe capability of indigenousin- novation.
